Goop Kitchen is coming to NYC!
Goop Kitchen is a clean-food restaurant concept created by Gwyneth Paltrow. Built on the belief that food should make you feel as good as it tastes, Goop Kitchen focuses on high-quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
We are opening our Core Kitchen in NYC on April 6th at 102 Commerce St. Red Hook, and are looking for dedicated, detail-oriented Prep Cooks to join the team.
Our Core Kitchen is the heart of the operation, producing high-quality ingredients that support multiple Goop Kitchen locations across the city. This role is essential in ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency as we scale.
What You’ll DoAs a Prep Cook at our Core Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and components that power our restaurants each day. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities include:

Preparing vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other ingredients according to Goop Kitchen recipes and standards

Following precise prep procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all locations

Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace at all times

Supporting daily production goals and working closely with the culinary leadership team

Properly labeling, storing, and rotating product (FIFO)

Assisting with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory

Upholding all food safety and sanitation standards

Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred

Strong knife skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced production kitchen

Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

Passion for high-quality food and hospitality
