Mandu Korean Restaurant – Washington, DC

Mandu, one of Washington DC’s most beloved Korean restaurants, is seeking a front of house manager to join our leadership team.

For nearly 20 years, Mandu has been serving authentic Korean cuisine and warm hospitality to the DC community. Our restaurant focuses on quality ingredients, strong team culture, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

The AGM will play a key role in supporting the General Manager and ownership in overseeing daily operations, developing staff, and maintaining the high standards that Mandu is known for.

Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations

  • Lead and manage front-of-house service teams during shifts

  • Maintain Mandu’s high standards of hospitality and guest experience

  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing staff

  • Help manage scheduling, labor, and service flow

  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency

  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure guest satisfaction

  • Work closely with the kitchen leadership team to ensure smooth service

  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and operational systems

Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of restaurant management experience

  • Experience in a high-volume or full-service restaurant preferred

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Experience with Toast POS and Resy is a plus.

Compensation Details
