Job description
The Office Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the General Managers across multiple locations. The administrator must coordinate among the various departments in the restaurant hierarchy, primarily those working in the kitchen, the dining room and the host staff. The admin will also work closely with management to handle clerical duties, daily financing, coordinating calendars and assisting with payroll. Your ultimate goal will be to work collectively with the team, allowing them to deliver our world-renowned Il Mulino culinary experience to each of our guests.
Responsibilities
- Supports new hires with proper onboarding and complies with I9 validation
- Ensures all employee files are fully completed and executed
- Responds professionally to customer inquiries via phone and or email
- Maintains proper inventory of office supply levels
- Data entry into Compeat Software Program
- Prepares daily cash deposits for bank, and going to the bank
- Reconciles petty cash accuracy, and posting in petty cash journal
- Responsible for payroll processes, computing wages, and ensuring that employees' salaries are paid correctly and on schedule
- Assists management throughout the hiring process
REQUIREMENTS
- Utilize technology and online resources to help break the language barrier that comes with having a diverse staff
- Prioritize activities that enable them to focus on what matters most, at the right time
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Practices patience and has a customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with staff and patrons
- Computer skills to include Excel & Word
- Acts with integrity, honesty at all times
- High school diploma is a plus but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here must be met by the Office Administrator to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Exert well-paced mobility, including standing and walking (including for prolonged periods of time up to 10 hours per day), bending and squatting; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Work onsite.
