ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave, providing a positive and memorable experience from start to finish
• Manage the seating process efficiently, taking into account reservations, walk-ins, and server availability.
• Answer phones and assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and other requests.
• Collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth communication and optimal guest satisfaction.
• Assist with various tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the restaurant and cocktail bar
• Interact with guests
• Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a host in upscale casual restaurants/bar in New York
• Resy/Opentable Experience
• Personable, positive, hospitable with a sharp sense of urgency while creating a warm & welcoming experience for guests
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume space
• Attention to detail, and a great team player
