Server — Chelsea Lounge
Position Summary
Responsible for full-service food and beverage execution in the dining room and lounge. Maintains service standards, product knowledge, and operational efficiency while delivering a controlled, professional guest experience.
Core Responsibilities
Service Execution
• Perform complete table service: greet, present menus, take orders, deliver food and beverages, clear, and reset tables.
• Guide guests through the menu with knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings.
• Maintain timing and pacing of courses in coordination with kitchen and bar.
• Monitor tables continuously for guest needs and service opportunities.
• Handle check presentation and payment processing accurately.
Product Knowledge
• Maintain working knowledge of the full food menu, daily specials, wine list, and cocktail program.
• Communicate menu details, allergens, and modifications clearly.
• Recommend appropriate beverage and wine pairings.
Dining Room Standards
• Maintain clean, organized service stations and dining areas.
• Ensure tables, glassware, flatware, and service equipment meet presentation standards.
• Execute proper table setup and reset procedures.
Operational Discipline
• Follow opening, running, and closing side work assignments.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, hosts, and management.
• Adhere to service sequence and house standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
Guest Management
• Resolve minor service issues immediately and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain professional demeanor under high-volume service conditions.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain discretion.
Requirements
• Prior restaurant serving experience in full-service or fine dining environment preferred.
• Strong menu and beverage knowledge.
• Ability to carry trays, stand for extended periods, and manage multiple tables simultaneously.
• Clear communication and organizational discipline.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
