Host

Layla is a lively, neighborhood restaurant and bar in the heart of Williamsburg. We serve seasonal, European-inspired food alongside great cocktails, beers and wines. We’re looking for an upbeat host to join our team.

About You:
- 2+ years experience in busy restaurants, cocktail bars or wine bars.
- Friendly and engaging with guests.
- Love to set the tone of our bar/restaurant. You're charismatic and have a radiant energy.
- Comfortable working on your feet, keeping pace, and being part of a team.

About the Role:
- Navigate a busy reservation book to ensure our guests are seated in a timely manner.
- Ability to control a large waitlist to ensure that we are driving revenue, while still ensuring we have a smooth service.
- Set the tone of our being a radiant, lively and vibrant place where our team takes pride in making our guests feel seen and taken care of.
- Be part of a collaborative team that takes pride in what we do.
