Golden Child, the rooftop cocktail bar at Hotel Park Ave, is seeking experienced, hospitality‑driven servers to join our team. As a server, you’ll guide guests through the Golden Child experience with confidence, warmth, and personality — delivering thoughtful tableside engagement, deep menu knowledge, and polished service in a high‑energy environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout the guest experience.

Demonstrating strong menu fluency, including all Golden Child food offerings, signature cocktails, wine selections, and spirit recommendations.

Engaging guests tableside with confidence — offering guidance, answering questions, and making thoughtful recommendations that elevate the experience.

Managing multiple tables with efficiency, organization, and professionalism during peak service.

Accurately entering orders, coordinating timing with bar and kitchen teams, and ensuring smooth pacing throughout the meal.

Presenting dishes and beverages with attention to Golden Child’s elevated aesthetic and brand expectations.

Upselling and recommending items with genuine enthusiasm to enhance guest satisfaction and check average.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and well‑prepared section throughout service.

Following proper cash handling and POS procedures to ensure transaction accuracy.

Supporting seamless communication between servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen teams to maintain smooth operations.

Anticipating guest needs, reading the room, and creating a welcoming, engaging atmosphere.

Following our 10/4 Rule — acknowledge guests within 10 feet, greet them within 4 feet.

Demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a strong team‑player attitude.
Setup, Breakdown & Side‑Work Responsibilities:

Completing all opening duties, including setting up sections, polishing glassware and silverware, stocking service stations, and ensuring the dining room is guest‑ready.

Executing assigned side‑work based on role (server, support, closer), including restocking service areas, organizing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Assisting with mid‑shift maintenance tasks such as resetting tables, refreshing water stations, and ensuring condiments, roll‑ups, and service tools remain fully stocked.

Completing all closing duties, including breaking down stations, wiping and resetting service areas, polishing and restocking glassware and cutlery, and ensuring the dining room is properly closed for the next shift.

Following all Renwick Hospitality checklists and side‑work assignments to maintain consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Important Information:

A minimum of 3 shifts per week, with a maximum of 5 shifts.

Goal: 4 shifts weekly, averaging at least 30 hours, subject to business needs.

Flexibility between morning and evening shifts is required — clear scheduling expectations may impact hiring decisions.
