Black Market Liquor Bar is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
For 15 years, Black Market has been a cornerstone of the Studio City and Los Angeles dining scene. It's a place where neighborhood regulars, industry folks, and first-time guests all sit side by side and trust us to deliver the same high-quality execution every time. Our kitchen, led by Chef Antonia Lofaso, focuses on seasonal cooking that's thoughtful but approachable, paired with one of the strongest cocktail programs in the Valley.
This position works alongside our kitchen leadership team to execute high-quality food during service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute dishes consistently and to standard during service
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation at your station
- Assist with prep, portioning, and station setup
- Follow recipes, plating guides, and Chef direction
- Communicate effectively with the team during service
- Uphold food safety and storage standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Sauté experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and kitchen fundamentals
- Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Compensation
- $22/hr-$25/hr
- Part-time position
Schedule
- Nights and weekends required
