General Manager
We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations at our upscale restaurant. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.
Our restaurant focuses on thoughtfully prepared cuisine made with high-quality, consciously sourced ingredients in a beautiful and serene environment. The General Manager will work closely with ownership, the Head Chef, and the events team to ensure seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and continued growth of the business.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences.
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations

Oversee all Front-of-House operations and maintain high standards of hospitality, service, and presentation

Partner with the Head Chef to ensure strong collaboration between FOH and BOH teams

Lead service from the floor and maintain a visible, hands-on presence

Monitor daily operations including service flow, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and restaurant ambiance

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Team Development

Recruit, hire, train, and mentor FOH team members

Create staff schedules and oversee payroll, time edits, and tip reporting

Lead pre-shift meetings and develop training programs focused on service standards, wine knowledge, and menu education

Foster a positive, respectful, and professional workplace culture
Guest Experience

Build authentic relationships with guests and maintain a strong presence in the dining room

Handle guest feedback and resolve issues quickly and professionally

Ensure consistency in hospitality, service standards, and overall guest satisfaction
Business & Financial Management

Monitor daily financial performance and support budgeting and cost control

Manage ordering and operational supplies within budget

Maintain POS systems and operational procedures to ensure accurate reporting

Collaborate with ownership on strategies to improve operations and grow the business
Events & Collaboration
Qualifications

4–5+ years of restaurant management experience in upscale, high-volume, or fine dining environments

Proven ability to lead teams and maintain high hospitality standards

Strong organizational and operational management skills

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

Experience with POS systems, scheduling platforms, and inventory/order management
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Certifications
Experience in restaurant and lounge environments or major hospitality markets is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift 25–50 lbs

Comfortable working across a large property with stairs

Exposure to kitchen environments and cleaning products
