We're seeking an enthusiastic and upbeat Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests and set the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warm Welcome: Greet all guests with a genuine smile and positive energy, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Seating Coordination: Efficiently manage reservations and walk-ins, ensuring timely and comfortable seating arrangements across multiple dining concepts.
• Guest Interaction: Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about the menu, concepts, and dining experience, ensuring guests feel confident and excited about their visit.
• Waitlist Management: Use digital or manual systems to manage the waitlist during busy periods while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Ambassador Role: Represent the restaurant’s brand and culture, embodying our commitment to hospitality and excellence.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and operations.
• Problem Solving: Address guest concerns or special requests with professionalism and efficiency, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Upbeat Personality: A naturally energetic and positive demeanor that creates a delightful guest experience.
• Hospitality Experience: Prior experience as a host/hostess or in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for Food: An interest or appreciation for Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is advantageous.
