Lead Line Cook

Dialog Cafe is looking for an experienced Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a station, staying organized, and helping the kitchen run smoothly during busy services. THIS IS FOR 1835 S Sepulveda Los Angeles location.

You’ll play a key role in executing our menu, supporting daily kitchen operations, and helping manage inventory and ordering. This role has a clear path to Sous Chef for strong performers, with opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities as you grow.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working all stations (hot and cold line) and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-driven kitchen.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure consistent execution of all menu items (temperature, quality, and presentation)

• Help manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization

• Work closely with the Chef team to develop and improve systems

• Support day-to-day kitchen operations alongside Kitchen Managers

• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and organization

• Communicate effectively with the team during prep and service

• Work with local and seasonal ingredients

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working multiple stations (hot and cold line)

• Lead line cook or leadership experience is strongly preferred

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

• Interest in learning and growing into a chef role

• Open availability preferred 

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Kitchen shifts include weekends and some holidays, with schedules shared in advance to help the team plan ahead.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
