Black Magic Bakehouse – Full-Time Baker Position
Black Magic Bakehouse is looking for a full-time baker to join our small, growing team. We’re a from-scratch, high-volume sourdough-focused bakery, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited about their craft and ready to grow with us.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional baking/pastry environment or a culinary school degree

Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-10 hours

Reliable, on time, and committed to maintaining a clean, organized workspace. THIS JOB REQUIRES WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Able to handle kitchen equipment safely and confidently
Skill Set:
-
Shaping brioche doughnuts

Mixing pie dough, cake batters, pastry creams, and glazes

Lamination experience (croissants & puff pastry)

Strong attention to detail and consistency across production
What We’re Looking For:
We want someone who is passionate about baking and wants to grow within the business as we continue expanding. Our menu rotates monthly, so being adaptable, curious, and comfortable learning new items is key. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, an intuitive baker, and someone who works well in close quarters with a small team.
