Only the Wild Ones is an intimate natural wine bar in Nolita focused on thoughtfully sourced wines, warm hospitality, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere. Our space is small, dynamic, and highly guest-focused. We are seeking a Server/Bartender who is passionate about wine, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys creating meaningful guest experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident working in a hybrid floor and small bar position, comfortable guiding guests through wine selections, and excited to be part of a small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities

Provide attentive, knowledgeable service to guests in a small, high-touch wine bar environment

Guide guests through the wine list with confidence, offering recommendations and educating guests on producers, regions, and styles

Open, present, and serve wines properly while maintaining strong product knowledge

Prepare and serve wine, beer, and simple cocktails according to house standards

Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining room throughout service

Manage multiple tables and bar guests in a busy, intimate space while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence

Communicate clearly with teammates to ensure smooth service and strong hospitality

Assist with opening and closing procedures including bar setup, breakdown, inventory support, and cleaning

Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system

Uphold all NYC DOH and alcohol service regulations

* Plate very basic food for service
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience as a server and/or bartender in a wine-focused restaurant or wine bar
-
Strong knowledge of wine, particularly natural, small-producer, and low-intervention wines preferred

Ability to confidently speak about wine regions, producers, and styles with guests

Experience working in small, fast-paced hospitality environments

Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized during busy service

Excellent communication and hospitality instincts

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the United States
