We are seeking a General Manager who is ready to take full ownership of the floor, team performance, and the overall success of the restaurant.
The Role
The General Manager is responsible for the daily execution and continuous improvement of the guest experience and front-of-house operations. You will work in close partnership with the Chef de Cuisine and Consulting Chef, wine and beverage leadership, and ownership to ensure the restaurant runs with precision, warmth, and consistency.
The General Manager creates the foundation for fast-paced, detail-oriented excellence in service, and is able to build and lead a team that excels in sales and service.
We provide full medical and dental insurance, and one week of paid time off annually. The company is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and for several days in January every year.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the dining room nightly and provide a consistent, elevated service
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance front-of-house team
- Refine and enforce clear service systems, standards, and accountability structures
- Drive reservation strategy and table management
- Partner tightly with kitchen and beverage leadership to achieve financial goals
- Oversee financial performance, including cost controls, weekly forecasting, and overall revenue performance
- Support and maintain our standards of wine and beverage service
- Set the tone for a culture that is warm, precise, and professionally ambitious
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' management experience in a fine-dining environment
- Strong command of restaurant financials and operations
- Advanced understanding of service mechanics, dining room flow, and guest interaction
- Calm, authoritative, hospitable floor presence
- Certified/Advanced Sommelier (CMS) or professional equivalent experience preferred
