Position: Multi-Unit Chef de Cuisine

Reports To: Chef-Owner, Alex Fiorello
Alessandro’s Restaurant Group is looking for a highly capable Multi-Unit Chef de Cuisine to help lead and organize culinary operations across three locations. This role works directly with the chef-owner and plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of the cuisine while building the systems and leadership structure needed to scale the brand.
This is not just a cooking job. It’s a leadership role for a chef who understands that great restaurants run on discipline, organization, and clear systems, not just talent on the line.
What You’ll Do
Culinary Leadership

Execute and uphold the culinary vision of Chef Alex across all locations

Maintain consistency in recipes, technique, plating, and quality standards

Lead menu implementation, seasonal changes, and product development

Train and mentor sous chefs and kitchen leadership teams
Systems & Organization
Team Management

Develop and lead strong kitchen teams at each location

Set clear expectations for accountability, performance, and professionalism

Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance development

Assist in hiring, onboarding, and building leadership within the kitchens
Operational Oversight

Monitor food cost and kitchen financial performance

Ensure strong vendor relationships and proper purchasing procedures

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization

Work closely with operations leadership to ensure kitchens support service excellence
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment

Strong ability to build and implement kitchen systems and structure

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Natural leadership ability with a focus on developing teams, not just managing them

Deep understanding of Italian cuisine and technique preferred

Experience managing multiple kitchens or high-volume operations is a major plus

Ability to balance creativity with disciplined execution
