Job Details

Golden Age Hospitality is hiring an Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision for a new concept opening in Spring/Summer 2026 in New York City.

The Role

The Executive Chef will collaborate with the Culinary Director on concept development, menu creation, staffing strategy, and operational systems. Post-opening, you will ensure culinary excellence, financial performance, and long-term team development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the culinary concept and seasonal menus
  • Build kitchen infrastructure, systems, and SOPs
  • Hire, train, and lead the culinary leadership team
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and overall BOH P&L performance
  • Collaborate with ownership on brand identity and positioning
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in all culinary output
  • Drive innovation while maintaining operational discipline

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of senior kitchen leadership experience
  • Proven experience opening restaurants (strongly preferred)
  • Strong financial and operational knowledge
  • Clear leadership presence and team-building ability
  • Deep understanding of NYC dining culture and market expectations
  • Creative vision balanced with executional precision

What We Offer
