Ruffian is a small, seasonal, ingredient-driven wine bar in the East Village seeking a Prep Cook to join our focused kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily prep with precision and efficiency

• Maintain organized, clean workspaces

• Follow proper storage, labeling, and DOH standards

• Support service as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year kitchen experience preferred

• Strong knife skills and attention to detail

• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

• Evening/weekend availability required

Schedule:

• Position will begin at approximately 24 hours per week, with the expectation of increasing to 32 hours per week as the role develops.
