JOB TITLE: Operations Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Institute of Culinary Education, New York City Campus, is seeking a full-time Operations Coordinator. The role of Operations Coordinator provides support to the Recreational and Special Events Department.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take ownership of the calendar, communicate across departments to evaluate resources to increase revenue
- Assign chef instructors to fill recreational classes
- Analyze day after surveys and analyze outcomes on a monthly basis with department leads
- Create the Main Course catalog, promoting recreational classes on a bi-annual basis
- Collaborate with other departments and attend meetings as required
- Work with marketing to evaluate email promotions, analyze metrics and adapt promotions accordingly
- Work closely with Events team to schedule and execute events
- Coordinate on campus student enrichment events, communicate across departments to coordinate and successfully promote
- Maintain emergency procedures binders
- Execute administrative tasks as assigned by VP of Culinary Operations
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a collaborative manner with others.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Must be able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with staff and student population
- Strong administrative abilities

The position is full-time and requires flexibility to work some evenings and occasional weekend shifts according to department rotation, which is set in advance.
