A well-established, high-quality café concept is seeking an experienced, passionate General Manager to lead daily operations, elevate the guest experience, and support continued growth.
About the Role
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the café’s operations, including team leadership, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and has a strong background in café, bistro, or upscale casual dining.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team of managers and hourly staff to deliver exceptional hospitality

Manage day-to-day operations including service, kitchen coordination, and guest experience

Drive financial performance through cost controls, labor management, and revenue growth

Recruit, train, and develop a strong hospitality-focused team culture

Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and operational systems

Collaborate with ownership/leadership on business strategy and improvements
Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader

Background in bistro, café, bakery, or upscale casual dining preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

Solid understanding of restaurant financials (labor, COGS, P&L management)

Passion for hospitality, food quality, and guest experience

Ability to lead both front and back-of-house collaboration
