Position Summary
The Food Runner plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to guests. This position supports servers and kitchen staff by maintaining clear communication, upholding presentation standards, and ensuring every dish meets our quality expectations before reaching the table.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests according to seating charts and ticket orders

Describe dishes when presenting them to guests, including ingredients and preparation methods

Ensure all plates meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen

Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timing of courses

Assist in expediting orders during peak service

Clear and reset tables as needed to support service flow

Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line and service stations

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

Provide attentive, professional, and courteous guest interactions
Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred (fine dining or upscale casual experience a plus)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
