Fish Cheeks is a vibrant restaurant located on the iconic Bond Street in NoHo serving contemporary Thai food with a focus on seafood.
Named for the lean, tender cheek meat that is considered the tastiest part of a fish and a delicacy in Asia, the critically-acclaimed and widely-beloved restaurant offers a menu of unabashedly intense, fresh and vivid dishes that span the diverse regions of Thailand.
Fish Cheeks is a concept that celebrates the cultural heritage and the culinary artistry found in Bangkok and beyond. Founders’ decided to open Fish Cheeks with desire to bring traditional Thai cuisine to NYC, offering a menu that highlights the unfiltered flavors they craved from their upbringing in Thailand and re-creates the type of convivial and communal-style dining found across the country - from the street-stalls to fine-dining restaurants.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years high-volume bartending experience
- Strong hospitality and people skills
- Good employment record that shows commitment
- Passion and knowledge of spirits and cocktails
- Experience with batching and prep
- Ability to lead by example and find ways to contribute their knowledge regularly
- Ability to work as part of team
- Lunch and Dinner availability
Responsibilities Include:
- Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the restaurant
- Providing friendly and attentive service to bar guests
- Helping guests choose menu items and taking orders for guests seated at the bar
- Keeping the bar area clean and well stocked
- Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages
- Assisting in tasks to ensure a stocked, sanitized and safe restaurant
- Assisting with beverage preparation and batching
