PdV is a neighborhood natural wine bar with an elevated & extensive food menu. We make a lot of cheese plates, but we also make pasta by hand, source excellent proteins, & work with seasonal produce. We are looking for people who love making food, feeding people, & working with a small yet strong team. PdV's menu is intentional and thoughtful, beautiful and detailed. Experience cooking in professional kitchens is preferred, however a strong work ethic, desire to learn, and positive & kind attitude is a must. You will work with both the kitchen and FOH team to execute excellent food, warm hospitality, & a cohesive experience. We work together & treat each other excellently, no exceptions.
We are ideally looking for a full-time cook to work 4-5 days per week, with shifts lasting no more than 10 hours. However, are open to a part-time position for the right candidate. We'd love to hear from you!
The physical demands required for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
