Line Cook

Food Preparation & Execution

• Execute assigned station during service with accuracy, consistency, and urgency

• Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and plating specifications

• Set up and break down station daily (mise en place, stocking, cleaning)

• Maintain pars and communicate low inventory to management

• Assist with daily prep lists and batch production

• Properly label, date, and rotate products following FIFO standards

• Monitor product quality and notify leadership of any concerns

Station Management

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times

• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs

• Keep walk-ins, lowboys, and dry storage areas organized and compliant

• Minimize waste and practice proper portion control

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Follow all local health department regulations and company food safety standards

• Maintain proper temperature logs and storage procedures

• Adhere to personal hygiene and uniform standards

• Participate in daily and weekly cleaning tasks

Team Collaboration

• Communicate clearly with fellow line cooks, prep team, and expeditors during service

• Support other stations as needed to maintain smooth kitchen flow

• Receive and implement feedback from kitchen leadership

• Contribute to a positive, professional, and respectful work environment

Operational Support

• Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries

• Participate in menu changes, training, and seasonal rollouts

• Maintain punctuality and readiness for scheduled shifts

• Support cost control efforts through careful handling of product
