BLACKBARN is an American restaurant founded by John Doherty, former Executive Chef of Waldorf Astoria New York. Event Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for events in private and semi private dining spaces
- Create and manage Banquet Event Orders and maintain accurate event documentation
- Process deposits and final payments
- Conduct site tours for prospective clients and assist with follow up communication
- Serve as a liaison between clients and culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support event day execution as needed, including client greeting and on site coordination
- Maintain CRM systems such as Tripleseat and assist with reporting and file organization
- Assist with office administration including ordering supplies and maintaining sales materials
- Support menu updates, proposal templates, and sales kit preparation
Marketing Support
- Assist with events related marketing initiatives in collaboration with the PR and social media teams
- Draft content for email campaigns and event promotions
- Support targeted outreach initiatives and industry events
- Be present onsite for select marketing activations and hosted planner events
Our Event Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and growth of our private events business while helping maintain the high standards our clients expect.

Experience
- 1 year of events, hospitality, or related experience preferred
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with platforms such as OpenTable, Resy, and Tripleseat preferred
