The Salt Line Ballston is looking for Bartenders!
Peak Season for very busy established bar and restaurant with the premier outdoor bar area in Ballston. Full Time, Part Time and Seasonal Positions available.
Very lucrative position for the right candidate. Our team works hard, takes pride in what we do, and does our best to have fun while doing it! We are seeking experienced, charismatic TEAM players with both strong fine dining background and solid high volume experience. Looking for great guest service skills who genuinely understand how to create memorable bar guest experiences. Must be versatile enough to be comfortable both at our outdoor bar handling high volume crowds AND behind stylish indoor bar handling fine dining guest experiences. Ideal candidates are reliable, hard working, and highly efficient and organized; are team oriented (pooled bar); bring a positive and professional approach to the position; and possess a genuine passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and the beverage and restaurant industry.
Little bit about us: The Salt Line concept combines the spirit of a New England Style Raw Bar and Fish House with the bounty of the Chesapeake and the energy of the Nation’s Capital. Building on the success of The Salt Line (DC), Long Shot Hospitality was thrilled to open its second The Salt Line in the bustling and energetic Ballston neighborhood. Opening in October 2021 to immediate accolades and success, The Salt Line Ballston has already established itself as a cornerstone of the Ballston dining scene and community. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic servers to join our team and be a part of the continued success for this exciting new addition to the growing The Salt Line family!
Our beverage program boasts a creative but approachable cocktail program alongside an eclectic wine list and an excellent craft beer list drawing heavily from NE & local breweries. We partner with local distillers and breweries to highlight what makes DC area so special while bringing in classic names that make New England beer and spirits so noteworthy. We have a very strong and loyal regular neighborhood following but as one of the most highly rated restaurants in Northern Virginia also see a lot of tourist, destination and special occasion dining and bar guests.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant high volume fine dining restaurant bartender experience
- Working knowledge of food, beverage and wine service
- Professional, friendly, punctual, reliable
- Team oriented mindset - we are a pooled bar
- Minimum of three shifts of availability
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($2.13) plus tips
