We are currently seeking an experienced Barista to join our team as we continue to grow our all-day café model.
Job Description:
This is a part-time position offering $18/hour + tips, with flexible scheduling. We are looking for someone who takes pride in craft, operates with urgency during peak service, and contributes to a positive, team-first culture.
You will play a central role in shaping the guest experience — from the first espresso shot pulled in the morning to light cocktails served in the late afternoon or brunch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality espresso drinks with consistency and precision
- Execute a focused menu of simple cocktails, wine, and beer
- Provide attentive, efficient, and genuinely warm service
- Train and mentor newer baristas to ensure quality and consistency
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area
- Contribute to the overall upkeep of the café, helping ensure the space feels refreshed, orderly, and welcoming throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of barista experience in a high-volume setting
- Valid Food Handler’s License (NYC)
- Strong espresso technique and understanding of extraction
- Comfort preparing basic cocktails and alcoholic beverages
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Clear communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Professional appearance and punctuality
- Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and community-driven service
