Job Details
Thames Street Oyster House, the premier seafood restaurant in Baltimore, is searching for a lead line cook to join our culinary team, with room for advancement to a Sous Chef position. We are Baltimore's premier seafood restaurant, offering superb food and service in an upscale but comfortable atmosphere. We are a very busy location on the waterfront, and have been recognized nationally as well as awarded multiple local accolades each year since opening. Executive Chef-partner Eric Houseknecht has worked in top restaurants all over the East Coast, as well as Europe.
 
For this position, experience in a scratch kitchen and a culinary degree is of course preferred, but is not entirely required. Ultimately we are searching for someone interested in becoming part of an amazing team of culinary professionals, who would like to work with and learn from an outstanding and awarded Executive Chef. A great attitude, strong work ethic and leadership skills are necessary as well.

We require a team player with a professional attitude. You must be passionate about culinary, and have an open mind to learn and grow. We are a single independent location with owners working service daily, and a very tight knit team.
