The General Manager will oversee all aspects of operations and responsible for managing staff, ordering, and tracking inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining an elevated level of customer service, providing leadership and support to the team, and managing prime costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Manage and lead a team of enthusiasts and support staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Implement and apply company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply of high-quality ingredients and products.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain a strong focus on financial performance, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Create and implement local store marketing initiatives to attract new customers as well as retain existing ones.
• Training champion to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee, bakery or shop setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
