Nowon is a Korean American restaurant founded in 2019 in New York City, named after Chef Jae Lee’s hometown district in Seoul, South Korea. What began as a pop up inside a tiny East Village kitchen has grown into a multi location brand spanning Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Boston.
We are looking for a team member who is passionate and dedicated to hospitality & service. The following are responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Welcome guests to the restaurant
- Provide wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas (hopefully soon!)
- Provide menus
- Greet guests upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options, protocol, guests notes, allergy notes, etc
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address guests’ queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.35) plus tips
