Utility Attendant

The Utility Attendant supports seamless restaurant operations by delivering food orders quickly and accurately, communicating between the kitchen and service team and upholding luxury service standards. The Utility Attendance maintains cleanliness, organization, stocking and side work responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to dining room in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests are met
• Verify that every dish run matches the ticket exactly before leaving the kitchen. This includes confirming modifiers, allergy notes, and special instructions.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables as needed. Perform setup and breakdown of room and equipment for events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo and runner stations
• Ensure proper handling of hot plates, allergy-aware items, and guest needs
• Support the service team during busy shifts with a proactive, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications:

• Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance service trays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to move quickly and safely in a busy restaurant environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Demands:
This role requires regular seeing, talking, hearing, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Duties include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, using stairs, and performing hand coordination tasks such as grasping and fine manipulation.
