Position Type: Part-time / On-call (evenings, weekends, holidays – flexible scheduling)
Reports to: Event Manager / Banquet Captain
About Maritime Parc
Maritime Parc is Jersey City’s premier waterfront venue, offering stunning Manhattan skyline views from Liberty State Park. We host high-end weddings, corporate galas, black-tie events, and private celebrations with in-house restaurant-caliber catering. Our team delivers exceptional service in a beautiful, fast-paced environment where every event is memorable.
We Are Hiring for the Following Front of House Roles
• Experienced Bartenders
• Servers
• Coat Check Attendants
• Door Persons / Greeters
Multiple positions available immediately for upcoming 2026 events.
What You’ll Do
Bartenders
• Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and signature drinks with speed and precision
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and adhere to all liquor laws
• Deliver warm, attentive guest service in a high-volume setting
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred
Servers
• Provide polished, professional table service for plated dinners, buffets, and cocktail receptions
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure exceptional dining experiences
• Work seamlessly with kitchen and bar teams
• Maintain composure during peak service
Coat Check Attendants
• Greet guests, securely check and return coats, bags, and personal items
• Provide friendly, efficient service and keep the coatroom organized and presentable
Door Persons
• Warmly welcome guests at the entrance
• Check invitations, tickets, or guest lists
• Assist with directions, coat drop-off, and initial impressions of the venue
What We’re Looking For
• 1+ years of relevant hospitality or events experience (2+ years strongly preferred for bartenders and servers)
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor
• Reliable transportation and consistent availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs when needed
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Must be 21+ for bartender and alcohol-service roles
