Job Details

Altair, a midtown restaurant from the Renwick Hospitality Team, is looking for an Executive Chef to fill out its leadership team. The Executive Chef will be responsible for the oversight of all food & beverage operations. In tandem with the Director of Food & Beverage, this role will handle responsibilities including but not limited to:

The management of all kitchen staff.
Menu & service development alongside RHG leadership.
Financial tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, & more.
Scheduling.
Communication with other depts. within the property.
Team member development & training based on RHG standards.
Health Dept. compliance oversight.
Must have food handlers permit
Invoice processing & ordering.

This role will be crucial to the continued success of Altair, and most importantly must be filled by a leader who can inspire. Our expectation is for the Executive Chef to work side by side with the team to help the continued development of the brand through food. This is a 100% hands-on position. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to show their skill and grow with an up & coming hospitality group. Bonus packages will be offered based on experience level.
