Summary: As a Bartender, you play a critical role in delivering elevated beverage service while contributing to an engaging and hospitality-driven dining and lounge experience. This position requires strong technical bartending skills, attention to detail, and confident guest engagement. Beyond preparing cocktails, bartenders are responsible for maintaining service efficiency, beverage quality, and consistency while supporting a collaborative and high-energy service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and engage in professional and friendly interaction to create a memorable experience.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences, cocktail profiles, and menu offerings.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistency and efficiency during high-volume service while upholding quality expectations.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of beverage orders into the point-of-sale system.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain ownership of bar organization, cleanliness, and station readiness throughout service.
- Properly set up, stock, and break down bar stations before and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product shortages or operational needs to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of glassware, tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with cocktail servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate drink execution and service pacing.
- Assist with training and supporting new team members as assigned.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service standards and all local licensing regulations.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly and ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Follow all Company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 2|3 years of bartending experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant, cocktail bar, or hospitality- driven environment required.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and modern mixology techniques.
- Ability to execute cocktails consistently while maintaining speed and accuracy during peak service.
- Experience working with POS systems and proper cash/credit handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift bar inventory as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong team-oriented approach.
- Experience working in experience-driven or upscale dining environments preferred.
