Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Culinary team as a Sous Chef at one of our Food & Beverage Outlets at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, South Carolina.  Based on your experience and skill set, you could work at:

  • Coastal Provisions. The impressive culinary team has crafted a variety of crave-worthy seafood and meats sourced with a story from local and regional purveyors. This Restaurant is open three meals a day.

Qualifications: 

The Sous Chef is responsible for monitoring the daily functions of one of these areas, including providing support and guidance to the culinary team and creating, implementing, and maintaining quality standards. Previous Culinary Management experience is required.

o   Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards

o   Manage colleagues through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating, and hiring

o   Monitor food production, ordering, cost, quality, and consistency daily

o   Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment

o   Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range: Based on Experience

Qualifications

Working Conditions: 

  • While primarily an indoor job, must be able to work at outdoor locations on occasion, walking on uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs frequently. & occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs;
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, reaching, and repetitive hand & arm movements constantly, squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally
  • Must be able to twist and bend frequently and squat occasionally

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience)
