Baroo is a fine dining Korean restaurant located in the Arts District of DTLA. Baroo was selected as the 2024 Restaurant of the Year by the LA Times.
We are looking for a full-time experienced HOST / SERVER ASSISTANT - someone who is quick, observant, outgoing and warm, with excellent communication skills. While Host is the primary role, we are looking for someone who can also perform server assistant duties. This is one of the most important roles since you're the first person our guests interact with at baroo. You also are overseeing the pacing of our dining room with our manager and owners, helping to make sure that guests are seated on time and with grace.
Starting pay is $18.00/hour + tips. We have a shift-based tip pool. Benefits include a monthly health insurance stipend, PTO, parking benefits and dining discounts.
Other qualifications include:
- At least 1-2 years front of house experience at a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant
- Food handlers and RBS certifications
