As we grow our brand in Denver, Colorado, we are seeking a creative and skilled Line Cook, you will assist in creating the culinary experience for the guests at Fino. Under the direction of the executive and sous chefs, you create flavors, and textures with care and attention to detail, knowing that every bite our guests take reflects your skills & abilities.

Gain experience in menu creation as we change up our menu to highlight seasonal

flavors. Learn new techniques, explore new ingredients, and grow with our team. Other

duties might include all the details that go into the seamless delivery of the guest

experience.


Key Responsibilities

Food preparation, butchery, cooking, and plating all menu items to the

specifications of each recipe

Maintaining all food items are consistently stored and labelled in accordance with

expectations set by the Chef team

Consistent adherence to all quality and cost control standards

Memorizing and understanding all menu items, recipes, ingredient details/origins,

and daily specials

prolonged standing, walking, lifting and carrying throughout entire shift in indoor

environment. High noise levels, fast-paced, fun, and rewarding

Attending all pre-meal and departmental meetings in person in order to enhance

communications and gain knowledge of ingredients and service notes

Compliance with all health and safety laws at all times


Cleanliness, Safety & Compliance

Completing all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing

side work as instructed

Maintaining cleanliness standards in order to have a clean, presentable and

attractive facility and to exceed state and local health board requirements

Maintain station, walk in and kitchen organization including consolidation of

product as you go, receiving of product, and dish room organization


Qualifications

One or more years of experience as a line cook or similar position

Must have ability to perform multiple tasks at one time in a high paced

environment

Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction and be able to communicate

both verbally and in writing

Must be able to perform job duties in crowded and noisy situations, particularly

when handling multiple tasks

Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Originally opened in 1959 as The Fountain Inn, the site evolved into the Gold Room—famed for its live jazz and opulent 14-karat gold decor—before gaining notoriety in the early 2000s as RockBar, a kitschy, 70s-themed nightlife hotspot beloved by locals. Now, through an extensive transformation led by developer Brian Toerber and in collaboration with the Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA), the property is being reimagined as the All Inn Hotel, featuring 54 artfully designed rooms, a coastal-inspired restaurant, a lively lobby bar, and an outdoor wine garden designed to serve both hotel guests and the broader community.

This project brings together an acclaimed team of creatives and operators, including design firm Maximalist Experience Design and Steven Waters of Take Care Brands Hospitality—known for innovative Denver establishments like Run for the Roses and Michelin Awarded F&B in New York City. Their shared vision for the All Inn is not simply to restore a building, but to breathe new life into East Colfax by creating a cultural and social hub that brings locals and travelers together. With offerings that celebrate both the neighborhood’s rich history and its evolving identity, the hotel aims to stimulate economic activity, encourage walkability, and provide a much-needed destination for those seeking authentic Denver experiences.
