Victor’s Café is a long-standing, family-owned Cuban restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, known for warm hospitality, live music, and a loyal neighborhood and Broadway clientele. We’re looking for a strong floor leader who is ready to take the next step into restaurant management.
This role is ideal for an experienced Lead Server, Captain, or Floor Supervisor who already leads by example and wants to grow into a formal management position.
Key Responsibilities

Act as Manager on Duty during service

Lead the floor with confidence, pacing service and supporting the team

Coach and support the team

Assist with scheduling, coverage, and daily team communication

Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism

Support opening and closing duties, cash handling, and reports

Maintain service standards, organization, and cleanliness

Partner with senior management on training and development
Qualifications
-
Experience as a Lead Server, Captain, Floor Supervisor, or Assistant Manager

Strong floor presence and natural leadership skills

Comfortable making decisions during busy service

Organized, calm, and solutions-oriented
-
Passion for hospitality and guest experience

Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

NYC restaurant experience preferred

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($66,500.00 - $68,000.00)
