About Le Sud
Le Sud is a French-Mediterranean neighborhood restaurant in Roscoe Village known for warm hospitality, private events, and a strong community presence. We’re looking for a hands-on Front of House Operations Manager who thrives on service excellence, team leadership, and building a consistent guest experience every day.
This is a key leadership role working directly with ownership and chef team.
Role Overview
The FOH Operations Manager oversees daily front-of-house operations, staff performance, service standards, and guest experience while supporting private events and revenue growth.
You’ll be on the floor leading by example, coaching the team, and ensuring smooth service during busy brunches, dinners, and events.
Responsibilities
Service & Operations
- Lead all front-of-house service shifts (floor management)
- Maintain hospitality standards and guest experience
- Manage reservations, seating flow, and service pacing
- Ensure service steps and timing are followed
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism
- Oversee opening/closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, and coach FOH staff
- Run pre-shift meetings and service training
- Create schedules and manage labor cost
- Foster a positive, professional team culture
- Maintain strong communication with kitchen
Financial & Admin
- Monitor labor and sales performance
- Track comps, voids, and end-of-day reports
- Assist with payroll and tip reporting
- Maintain operational systems and SOPs
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Wine/beer/cocktail knowledge a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Hospitality-first mindset
- Comfortable with Sling scheduling & Toast POS systems is a plus
- Weekend and evening availability required

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($60,000.00 - $70,000.00)
