Front of House Lead
Cherry Hill Park is a family owned and operated RV park and campground. Our guests stay with us to tour D.C. and to enjoy a premium camping experience.
We are looking for a front-of-house team lead to join us us at our on-site cafe, a fast-casual restaurant provided as an amenity to our guests. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as fried snacks and ice cream.
This position leads the front-of-house café team by modeling expert hospitality and ensuring staff follow standard operating procedures for the register, food prep, inventory, and more.
We ask for 1+ years of food-service and hospitality experience.

Responsibilities
- Perform cafe tasks at an expert level and according to standard operating procedures, including:
- opening and closing routines;
- sales and hospitality;
- food prep and service;
- kitchen maintenance and sanitation; etc.
- Assist other cafe team members with training, problem-solving, and tricky guest service concerns.
- Expedite orders during busy periods by facilitating kitchen communication and coordinating between front-of-house and back-of-house.
- Maintain prep stations—keep stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift.
- Monitor food freshness and rotation, labeling items and minimizing waste.
- Check in deliveries and track inventory, notifying management of low-stock items.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as:
- team scheduling;
- purchasing and food/supply oversight;
- and troubleshooting common maintenance or technical issues with register, printers, and other kitchen equipment.

Part-time, full-time, and seasonal staff may apply, and will be considered on a rolling basis as positions open up. Salary is hourly, starting at minimum wage and negotiable according to experience.
