We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Assistant General Manager to lead floor operations across two of our establishments in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
This role focuses on high-level operational leadership and active floor management. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leader who excels in fast-paced nightlife environments and ensures the seamless physical execution of events. You will serve as a primary driver of the guest experience and staff performance across both locations.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and eager to learn about management and operations as a next step. This is an entry-level management position.
Core Responsibilities

Work closely with the GM, acting as primary deputy, ensuring all directives are implemented across both locations and providing detailed feedback on floor performance, staff morale, and operational hurdles.

Act as the primary authority on the floor during peak hours. Your presence is centered on ensuring operations run smoothly, maintaining service standards, and addressing any guest or staff issues with speed and efficiency.

Take the lead on the physical setup and execution of private events. You’ll coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure that the food is in order and comes out beautifully presented.

Ensure that our standards for music, lighting, beverage quality, and "vibe" are consistent and match our culture.

Assist the GM in maintaining operational continuity during their absence. This includes communicating daily shift reports, flagging maintenance needs, and ensuring that both establishments’ activities align with the broader company goals set by ownership.

Help train and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals. Oversee staff development, improve guests interaction, and boost morale.

Expertly handle the "nightlife variables." Whether it’s a difficult guest, a technical issue with the sound system, or a sudden surge in volume, you remain the calmest person in the building and resolve conflicts with tact.
Position Requirements

2+ years experience in high-volume establishments.

Ability to monitor the floor and staff performance constantly, identifying and resolving service issues before they impact the guest experience.

A deep passion for beverage culture, elevated bar food, and the NYC nightlife scene.

Familiarity with POS systems

Flexibility for a 40-hour week. This role requires someone to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
