Bosco, a California-Italian restaurant in SoMa, is looking for a reliable Daytime Prep Cook to support our bread and pastry production. We make sourdough focaccia, plated desserts, and seasonal components in-house.
No pastry experience required — we will train the right person.
Ideal for someone who wants to learn baking, fermentation, and high-level kitchen organization.
Pay & Schedule
- $25/hour + tips
- Daytime shifts
- Staff meal + paid sick time
What You’ll Do
- Assist with sourdough focaccia and naturally leavened doughs
- Prep dessert components, sauces, creams, and garnishes
- Scale, mix, shape, and bake (training provided)
- Maintain clean, organized prep stations
- Support general daytime kitchen prep as needed
Who You Are
- Reliable, organized, and positive attitude
- Some kitchen prep experience helpful but not required
- Interested in bread, pastry, or fermentation
- Comfortable with early hours and a fast-paced kitchen
