Ad Hoc, Thomas Keller's casual dining restaurant in Yountville, CA is in search of a Dining Room Manager. We are seeking an enthusiastic leader who is passionate about food and wine to join our team. Ad hoc offers a unique dining experience with a daily changing four (4) course menu, served family style. The environment is warm, inviting and a comfortable respite conjuring memories of treasured meals at home. 

Qualified candidates will have 2 -5 years of management experience in a similar or chef driven environment. We require a strong desire for knowledge, a profound interest in food and wine along with a drive to set new standards in the profession.

We are committed to sourcing the finest ingredients, creating a product that exceeds our high standards and delivering exceptional service to our guests. We are seeking individuals with a proven understanding of the hospitality profession as well as those who understand the importance of working as a team.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of  2 years of previous experience in a similar role. Qualified candidates will be able to consistently promote and demonstrate positive guest relations and must have a strong interest in food and wine. The role will involve:

  • Guest Experience Mastery: Anticipating needs, curating personalized experiences, and ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.
  • Service Execution: Overseeing dining room flow and coordinating with the Dining and Culinary leadership team.
  • Reservation & Seating Strategy: Managing VIP guests, special occasions, and dining room logistics to optimize service and ambiance.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest services and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
