Sommelier
BRASS & TUSK BAR – Flatiron / NoMad
BRASS and TUSK BAR, dynamic new food and beverage concepts located in Flatiron/NoMad, are seeking an experienced Sommelier to support and help oversee the wine program across multiple outlets in collaboration with our Beverage Director.
With Michelin-star culinary partners and a strong, hospitality-driven front-of-house team already in place, we are looking for a career-oriented wine professional with exceptional standards, refined service skills, and long-term ambition.
Position Requirements

WSET Level 3 certification minimum or
-
Court of Master Sommeliers – Certified Sommelier (Level 2) minimum

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in high-level dining environments

Strong financial acumen and understanding of beverage cost controls
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of the wine program for both BRASS and TUSK BAR

Work actively on the service floor, providing elevated tableside wine service and guest engagement

Support oversight and training of service staff in wine knowledge and service standards

Collaborate on planning, pricing, and curating wine lists in alignment with each venue’s mission and profitability goals

Monitor service methods, portion control, and presentation standards to ensure wine is delivered with precision and consistency

Lead ongoing product knowledge and service training for all front-of-house staff

Establish and uphold standards for personnel performance and hospitality excellence

Oversee proper receiving, storage, inventory management, and handling of all wine inventory

Monitor inventory levels, beverage cost, and payroll expenditure in accordance with approved budgets

Support achievement and exceeding of budgeted beverage revenue goals
