Sam’s of Gedney Way is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and service-driven Bartenders to elevate our bar program and guest experience. The ideal candidate brings a refined hospitality mindset, strong cocktail knowledge, and the ability to create memorable, seamless experiences for every guest seated at the bar or throughout the dining room.
Our bartenders are sales professionals, and experienced curators — guiding guests through our beverage offerings with confidence and warmth while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment. A strong foundation in classic cocktails, wine, and spirits is essential, along with the adaptability to serve a diverse clientele and collaborate seamlessly with our service team.
This position is ideal for a hospitality professional looking to grow within an established, high-level restaurant setting.
Two years of fine dining or upscale bar experience preferred.
- In depth knowledge of food, spirits, cocktails and wines.
- Must have availability (Days, Nights, weekends).
- A strong work ethic is a must.
- Team player mentality – must be able to work well with others.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, polished appearance with the ability to exceed our guests' expectations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to multitask.
- Ability to understand and speak about menu items.
- Maintain composure during busy times.
- Must be able to problem solve and be open to constructive criticism.
- Punctuality is a must.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.35) plus tips
