Job Details
Jean’s is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Reservationist to manage one of the most in-demand books in NoHo. This role is central to the guest experience and requires excellent judgment, speed, discretion, and a strong understanding of VIP hospitality. You will be responsible for managing reservations across all services, handling large parties, and ensuring the room is set up for success every night.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the reservation book using 7rooms

Handle high-volume inbound and outbound reservation communication (phone, email, system notes)

Apply VIP touches with consistency, discretion, and attention to detail

Coordinate and book large parties, special events, and high-profile guests

Strategically manage table pacing, turn times, and walk-in availability

Communicate clearly with management, hosts, and floor teams throughout service

Anticipate guest needs and flag special requests, preferences, and sensitivities

Maintain accuracy and organization in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment

Uphold Jean’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and confidentiality
Qualifications

Prior experience as a reservationist or host in a high-volume, high-end restaurant

Strong working knowledge of 7rooms (required)

Ability to think quickly, multitask, and stay calm under pressure

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience handling VIP clients and large-party logistics

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Flexible schedule with full availability, including weekends and late nights

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $30.00)
