A busy, upscale restaurant in Oak Brook is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join its leadership team. This is a confidential search for a chef who thrives in a high-volume environment, values strong kitchen culture, and takes pride in consistently delivering excellent food. The team is passionate, collaborative, and focused on quality, creativity, and guest experience.
What You’ll Do:
• Support daily kitchen operations and lead service execution
• Maintain high food quality, consistency, and sanitation standards
• Coach, develop, and motivate kitchen staff
• Assist with ordering, inventory, scheduling, and cost controls
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven sous chef or strong kitchen leadership experience in upscale/high-volume dining
• Passion for food, teamwork, and positive kitchen culture
• Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining standards
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 (DOE)
