Niku X is a modern Japanese steakhouse in the heart of New York City, offering an elevated dining experience with an emphasis on premium cuts, refined service, and a dynamic beverage program. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our front-of-house team.

What We’re Looking For:
A confident and experienced bartender with a passion for mixology, exceptional service, and knowledge of spirits, sake, and wine. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining grace, speed, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft both house and classic cocktails with precision and consistency

• Execute seasonal or concept-driven cocktail recipes as provided by our beverage director

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service

• Deliver knowledgeable recommendations on wine, sake, and spirits to enhance guest experience

• Multitask and communicate efficiently during high-volume service periods

• Collaborate with the service team to maintain a seamless and elevated guest experience

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in high-end or high-volume restaurants or bars

• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, sake, and cocktail preparation techniques

• Ability to learn and execute new recipes quickly and consistently

• Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail

• NYC Food Handler's Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Professional, punctual, and team-oriented
