Job Details
Our concept is simple —a place for families, friends, first dates, and everything in between. We focus on creating experiences with comforting food, great drinks and wine, and a vibrant atmosphere. We show sports, we have music lovers (who visit the Paramount upstairs) and we want to create a return customer! If you’re someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and wants to be part of a dynamic, growing brand, this is the perfect place for you.
What you’ll do
The Server position will be responsible for the following:
- Able to thoughtfully describe all menu items and be aware of available modifications and possible allergens in each dish, and using this knowledge to provide suggestions to guests. All servers will be tested during training for food knowledge and must pass with a 90% minimum.
- Acknowledging and learning names of regulars, our neighbors and friends of the restaurant.
- Hitting all steps of service as outlined in the training packet with every party in the dining room. Guiding everyone in the restaurant through a consistently friendly, hospitable experience.
- Ringing in all food and beverage accurately, making sure all checks presented are accurate and graciously collecting payment.
- Respecting everyone in the building - maintaining cleanliness, acknowledging all employees, using respectful language, dressing appropriately and working with everyone else in the building to be helpful. Maintaining a positive attitude is important every day.
- Showing up ready to work. Attire should be clean and wrinkle-free and have on their person during their shift a sharpie, a wine opener, a lighter and a server book.
- Respecting the facility - picking up trash, cleaning up after yourself, taking the initiative to clean, finishing your sidework, letting managers know if anything is in disrepair.
- Running food or drinks, assisting in pre-bussing tables, sweeping floors, helping teammates in the FOH or BOH, being present and aware in order to assist with any spills or special requests.
