Goosefeather is the flagship restaurant of Food Crush Hospitality, founded by Chef Talde and his wife, Agnes Talde. Our back-of-house team works under the leadership of Executive Chef Jeremiah Shoemaker, who is dedicated to fostering creativity, precision, and teamwork in the kitchen.
About the Roles
Saute Cooks
- Execute dishes with precision and consistency, following Goosefeather’s standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized station throughout service.
- Communicate clearly with fellow cooks and FOH staff.
- Participate in prep, service, and breakdown.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Wok Cooks
- Execute dishes with precision and consistency, following Goosefeather’s standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized station throughout service.
- Communicate clearly with fellow cooks and FOH staff.
- Participate in prep, service, and breakdown.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous Saute and Wok experience preferred (1+ years).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Comfortable with frequent bending, reaching, and carrying.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
