A major milestone for the Group was the successful 2025 opening of Maxime’s in New York, its first American private members’ club—an achievement realized after many years of planning and development.

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the VP of Finance, this role will be supporting with delivering accurate financial reporting, month-end processes and analysis to help the business make informed decisions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Financial & Management Reporting

  •  Assist in preparing the monthly management pack.
  • Post journal entries and support Accounts Payable/Receivable processes.
  • Complete reconciliations for key accounts (e.g., debtors, bank accounts).
  • Help maintain balance sheet accuracy and provide supporting schedules.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights.
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help streamline processes.

Financial Control

  • Assist in maintaining internal controls and compliance standards.
  • Perform cash reconciliations and monthly auditing to ensure proper cash handling.
  • Support Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and process improvements.
  • Learn and use accounting systems (e.g., Netsuite, Tevalis) and other relevant platforms.

Skills & Knowledge

Essentials

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (including internships or placements).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Proactive, organized, and team-oriented approach.

Desirable

  • From a public accounting or audit background.
  • Exposure to month-end processes and reconciliations.
  • Worked with Netsuite or similar SME focused accounting software.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or company with a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $75,000.00)
